While the term “Hostile Work Environment” has a very specific legal definition that arises from workplace harassment, HR professionals have heard the term used by employees inaccurately.
This webinar will discuss what a hostile work environment really looks like, how to properly use the term, and how to train supervisors to respond to allegations of a hostile work environment.
In addition, we will cover the laws that apply to workplace sexual harassment, how to handle and respond to complaints, including investigations and fashioning remedies when a complaint is substantiated.
Attendees will learn more about creating effective policies, with a focus on zero-tolerance policies for sexual conduct, abusive conduct in the workplace, and how such policies assist in handling complaints properly.
