Foster care providers and children are bracing for an uncertain future as many of California’s foster family agencies are likely to lose insurance by the end of September. KPBS’ Katie Hyson reports.

Most of California’s FFAs are losing their insurance. The children they care for could be taken from their homes as early as Sept. 30, as current contracts begin to expire.
