Beginning in March 2024, New York state law will allow risk retention groups to provide auto insurance to nonprofits.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul recently signed legislation, Assembly Bill 5718 and its companion Senate bill, which will allow out-of-state risk retention groups (RRGs) to write auto insurance coverage to nonprofits in that state, beginning in March 2024.
