The Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group is comprised of Alliance Member Services (AMS), Nonprofits Insurance Alliance of California (NIAC), the Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance, Risk Retention Group (ANI) and the National Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance (NANI). All of these companies are 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits. AMS is a supporting organization providing accounting, underwriting, claims, and administrative services to NIAC, ANI, and NANI.
This unique group of companies is governed by 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations and is operated exclusively for their benefit. Member-insureds include SPCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, Meals on Wheels, homeless shelters, environmental groups, and many others. The collective assets of the combined group of companies stands at $415.5 million as of December 2015. AMS currently employs more than 100 full-time staff, providing products and services to more than 16,000 members nationwide.
