Danilo Garcia is the Chief Financial Officer of the Alliance for Children’s Rights, a NIAC member since 2019, with 60+ employees, over 600 volunteers, and an operating budget of $9M. The Alliance for Children’s Rights provides free, holistic legal services and advocacy to youth and families impacted by child welfare and juvenile justice systems in Los Angeles County and works to enact policy changes statewide. Mr. Garcia oversees operations, risk management, strategic planning, and the overall financial viability of the agency.
Before that, Mr. Garcia was the Finance Director of A Place Called Home in south Los Angeles. He has volunteered to help homeless veterans as part of a Financial Modeling Task Force through a joint project with United Way of Greater Los Angeles and the LA Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Garcia also volunteered for Computers for Youth, a nonprofit organization promoting online educational software to assist low-income children to succeed in school.
Mr. Garcia holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance Emphasis) from Cal Poly Pomona, a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration (Finance emphasis), and a minor in Economics from Cal State Los Angeles.
