Christine Westbrook is the CFO of Goodwill Central Coast (Salinas, CA) a NIAC member since 2010, with 529 employees, and a budget of $41.6 million.
Goodwill Central Coast builds lives, families, and communities by helping people with employment needs become successful, supported by innovative enterprises that preserve earth’s resources. They believe that everyone has the right to work, but for many individuals the obstacles to employment are too high to overcome alone. Obstacles like homelessness, military service, single parenting, incarceration, addiction, and job displacement can define a person’s identity, even when they have so much more to offer. Each year they assist job seekers get back to work and reclaim financial and personal independence. They provide a positive learning environment that creates brighter futures through connecting people to meaningful work.
Christine came to Goodwill with more than twenty years’ leadership experience in the for-profit realm. Christine has an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University and a BFA from the University of Southern CA. Christine is the treasurer of Lyceum of Monterey has volunteered with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), Monte Vista Christian School, and Junipero Serra School.
