I Have a Dream Foundation
Atlanta, GA
“NIA understands the realities of insuring mission-driven, youth-serving organizations. As a small nonprofit working closely with schools, families, volunteers, and community partners, we needed an insurance provider that not only understood our work but appreciated its complexity and importance. NIA has been a responsive, reliable, and thoughtful partner to I Have A Dream Atlanta, taking the time to understand our programming, our risks, and our growth goals. Their partnership has given us greater confidence and peace of mind as we serve our Dreamer Scholars and expand our impact across Atlanta.”

“Liability insurance plays a big role in our programming as the Maysles Documentary Center and spaces where we host our workshops often require insurance coverage as a condition of rental.
We are a proud NIA member and love concentrating on bringing community together to create and enjoy art while having insurance coverage that offers safety at an affordable price.”

The Hummingbird Project
Marina Del Rey, CA
“As the founder of The Hummingbird Project, I was thrilled when we got our 501(c)3 approved by the IRS. But little did we know about the challenge of finding an insurance company that would cover all the outdoor activities we had in mind for our kids.
As a youth organization we knew it was going to be hard but it took many months and our desire to start taking the kids on nature outings had to be put on hold for a while.
We finally learned about NIA when we changed our agent and that was a revelation. Not only NIA was willing to support our work without breaking our bank, but it was a nonprofit and that was comforting to know.
We have not leveraged all the services they provide us, we are a new and small org and still going through continuous improvement in our operations and our processes but we are happy the resources are there for us.”

"We found NIA after our previous carrier literally dumped us because we do advocacy work. Not only did NIA take us on when so many would not, they did so with open arms and support.
There are a lot of non-profits doing needed work for populations in the community who don't know how to navigate insurance needs, and having an agency who cares about that work and helps us through the challenges questions with ease is a life-saver in return in so many ways."
—Lyn Buske, JONAH
