Debra Gore is the President and CEO of the Greenlining Institute, a NIAC member since 1994 based in Oakland, CA.
The Greenlining Institute is committed to building a just economy that is inclusive, cooperative, sustainable, participatory, fair, and healthy. Their multifaceted advocacy efforts address the root causes of racial, economic, and environmental inequities in order to meaningfully transform the material conditions of communities of color in California and across the country.
Debra has over 25 years of leadership experience in nonprofit and private research universities and over ten years of private sector business development expertise having worked in investment banking, international infrastructure development and engineering.
She is a tireless advocate for ethical and responsible management of mission-driven organizations employing the highest commitment to excellence, performance, and integrity.
Debra received her BS in Management Sciences and MBA in finance from Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA.
She serves on multiple nonprofit and foundation boards that work to serve communities whose works include criminal justice, nonviolence, youth educational opportunities, supporting young adults in sports and economic opportunity.
