The Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group is comprised of four affiliated companies, all of which are 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits governed by their nonprofit members:

  • Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance, Risk Retention Group (ANI)
  • Nonprofits’ Insurance Alliance of California (NIAC)
  • Alliance Member Services (AMS)
  • National Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance (NANI), a captive reinsurer

This structure enables one group of staff and management to serve nonprofits across the country, provides a vehicle for a nationwide spread of risk, and allows the efficient development of loss control resources for members.

To serve 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations by providing a source of liability insurance coverage tailored to the specialized needs of the nonprofit sector, and assist these organizations to develop and implement successful loss control and risk management programs.
